Police on Long Island say a Central Islip man was arrested for selling heroin while carrying his 8-month-old daughter.

Suffolk County Police say officers conducting surveillance spotted 23-year-old Tyreek Langs walking down a street with the baby in his arms and attempting to sell h-ro-n to a buyer.

According to CBS New York, police found more of the drug on Langs and arrested him immediately on charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.

The child was released to her great grandmother and child protective services were notified.

The station reports Langs is due in court on Friday.

Additional reports also state that the man claimed he brought his daughter along because he “couldn’t find a babysitter” while the mother was at work.

How did this genius NOT see that there was no way this would end well? Thank goodness it wasn’t a bad drug deal and the baby wasn’t harmed.
