Chicago is not like dc. DC is a tiny worm hole in which not only do you have the dc traffic but MD and VA have to go through DC and work in DC. When chicago is as important as DC then we will compare. If he lets Dc get all backed up with idots who are slipping on the road then an emergency happens all his emergency back up roads will be packed. He they had sent his kids to school he would they would have sat in traffic for hours. I know that is how backed up it was. I went to work on Capitol hill both days!!!!

Our children are our priority not the government. Fools drive crazy down here and the kids would have been in the street. Dc kids do not get bused nor have secret service drive them to school.

I live in MD but work on Capitol hill. I sent my kids to school b/c pg still had school buther bus never came and then we found out there were 8 school bus accidents alone.

Last year off ice alone the mixing bowl was congested and people were stuck in rush hour traffic until 11 that night and most ran out of gas.

We are a different breed for different reason why our roads have to stay clear and open. Not only for our kids health but for his escape plan as well!!!!!

Now the first day it was only snow I sent my kids to school I did not understand why people were keeping their kids home for 1 inch of snow but when the ice storm came and froze over nightI was not gonna take a chance. Heck I remember enjoying the blizzard of 1993 and 1996.
