It might not be the most modern looking home, but you can definitely tell why it costs $9 million
Ex-NBA Coach/Player Avery Johnson Sells His $9 Million
It’s kind of surprising that an athlete with the nickname Little General would own one of the biggest mansions in Texas. Then again, that kind of thinking goes against the grain of a core Lone Star state principle: “Everything’s bigger in Texas.”
This former San Antonio Spurs point guard and NBA head coach and owner of this “insanely massive” 14,396-square-foot manse. According to our friends at Busted Coverage, the Little General has his marching orders and is looking to sell the monster property, listing the seven-bedroom estate in May for the Texas-sized price of $9 million.
Sited on 1.69 acres in Spring, TX, his oversized mansion isn’t lacking in luxury. Marble flooring, grand pillars and detailed molding and trim are found throughout and give the interior a Grecian-contemporary look. The Little General’s place also has amenities aplenty, including a wood-paneled office and library that spans two floors, basketball-court-themed bedrooms and a game room with a wet bar. Last but certainly not least, the athlete digs has a pool with fancy water features.
Any idea who it might be?
Words don’t do this house any justice. Flip it over to see how you could be living if you had an extra $9 milli layin’ around.
