In 1982 when white record ex. was rap was a fad is not going to last. Where was Jay-z and when messages was delivered in rap, where was Jay-z. LL was their and he has been around for over 20 years. I got the american gangster sound album and I was very sorry I spend my money, it was weak the tracks were weak and all jay-z did was talk about himself and thats very weak to me. All good leaders make everyone around them and as president thats his job. LL has drop 10 LPs over two decades let’s see what jay-z can do. I good rapper can change the game, can Jay-z do that and still stay on top, I know he don’t want the game to change back to possitive message rap because he would not stay on top. Stop talking about your clothes, your car and the money you spend. Children of the day needs better leaders in theirs lifes.

First off Wu-Tang and Raekwon are not signed to Def Jam. The point I think Black Friday is trying to make is that the same thing is going on with other labels and those executives are not getting the same scrutiny even def Jam is doing better then most others. His being a artist is just a excuse. Artist like red Meth and others have not done their part Red and Meth to several years off and did nothing musically during that time such as mix tapes or remixes. Look at Ghostface he was supposed to do a book that he had already been paid for and the label was going to cross promote it but he never did his part which is write the book.

He did not spend everyone budget on himself because he was paid by those sponsors Bud HP, TNT, and others. Being a smart business man he used that to promote himself for free and get paid for it. Ghost could have done the same thing with his book but he did not write the book, so who’s fault is that his or the label?
