Lil Kim is a White Woman??

The saga continues, y’all. Voletta is sick and tired of the Queen Bee and definitely put the surgery slipped heffa in her place:

Voletta Wallace is getting tired of Lil Kim talking greasy about Notorious. And in a recent interview with Hip-Hop Weekly she’s letting it be known.

“She felt the character we chose for her was ‘too dark,’ ” Wallace told the publication, regarding Kim’s issues with the film. “Do you know why the character was too dark for her? Because she’s a white woman trapped in a black woman’s body, and you can tell the world I said it, because those are Lil’ Kim’s words. She should be ashamed of herself.”

Wallace had some more ether for the pint-sized rap icon:

“Tell Lil’ Kim to go find herself, go drink a cup of green tea and get a life! This movie is not about Lil’ Kim. She felt we used her character to promote [but] this movie is about my son. … Lil’ Kim needs to go sit down.”

All this comes on the heels of Kim telling Hip-Hop Weekly, “They were disrespecting me terrible in that script…the one that sticks out to me was in a scene allegedly when Ms. Wallace came to see one of Biggie’s shows for the first time and I was supposed to be so mad at him about something that I pulled my panties off on stage and mooned the crowd with my (explicative)… What the (explicative)? Come on, don’t you think that would’ve been in the history archives? They’re using Lil Kim to sensationalize their bulls— lying’-a– story. That was the last version of the script I saw, which somebody had snuck to me, ’cause people didn’t want me to see it.”

Biggie’s widow Faith Evans brushed off Kim’s comments. “I got four kids, and I definitely don’t have time for this type of shit,” she told MTV.com. “It’s just sad. I don’t know Kim’s story like that.”

    If Lil Kim didn’t moon poeple at his concert and they are dipicting this in the film she has a point. The movie was made to make money, not lose it, so there probably is some over the top illustrations or sensations being done to promote the movie. Most people in mainstreem society aren’t going to go see the film anyway. It was made for HipHoppers and people who have knowledge of Biggies short lived carreer. To me it’s more Ghetto Bull*****.     I think Lil Kim simply caved in to the pressures of the entertainment industry. Think about who makes it big in terms of black female entertainers? The pretty light skinned girls with long hair and european features.     Really, all these women (Ms. Wallace, Faith, Charlie Baltimore and Kim) have their own story because they’re seeing from their own point of view. Their story of life with Biggie is what they perceive. Honestly, Ms. Wallace, although her son is gone, Charlie Baltimore and Faith seem happy with themselves and their lives and children.

    Kim is the only one who seems unhappy with herself and life on a constant basis. She had such a cute face and beautiful skin. Why would you want to take a knife to it and discolor yourself? Never feeling you were acceptable enough, hurting inside that’s why. Another truth is if she really had true friends “in the game”, if I was her friend, I would’ve tried to dissuade her from all that plastic surgery and self hate, as a black woman.

    And tell her what a beautiful person she was and is. Pray for Kim yall, I was down on her but she has truly suffered in this life, especially by her own hand. We all have our own faults. And who knows what Biggie or her father had said and done to her. She just never felt accepted by the men she truly loved, feeling undesirable and rejected. Like Michael Jackson being called big nose by his dad, his nose will never seem small enough.

    Her constantly being chosen over by Biggie may have not been the skin color, but it’s her attitude that comes into play. She just did not and does not have a calm/cool personality/demeanor that Charlie and Faith seemed to have. She also fell into that “light skinned” perception. But it may have been her own perception of herself. Most people can’t handle what they see as her emotion imbalance, she’s a Cancer. As a Cancer, she has high-highs and low-lows, she’s crazy moody, a go-getter, but unhappy and self-pitying at times.

    Cancers sometimes live in a reality that they have played out in their own minds, but it is actually a partial fantasy to cushion the pain of real life, reality. It seems she was more serious abut their “relationship”, than he. Biggie is all right, but being crazy over a fat blob, and he’s disrespecting you too!??? Let’s be real. Kim, maybe you should not have been “Bigging up Biggie” so much, but “Bigging up” yourself. If he loved you he would have accepted you the way you were.     Lil’ Kim was probably upset about the film because it shed a little light on her low self-esteem issues. She was a domestic violence victim before she blew up. Although she was very attractive before all the plastic surgery, she was unhappy with herself. If she was comfortable in her own skin and actually loved who she was, she would not have endured so many plastic surgeries (i.e. lip job, nose job, skin lightening, liposuction and lawd knows what else).

    I don’t need to defend it. I’m grown and will do whatever the ***** I want. You are the one focused on HAIR like it is the end of the world. It is a weak excuse for your preference. And not when they get more surgery than anyone. And what is the fun of weave if you can’t play with different colors and textures.     I think we as people who really don’t know the whole scenario need to keep our negative comments to ourselves. Who is to say that what Lil’ Kim is saying is fact or fiction? Who is to say that what Miss Wallace is saying is fact or fiction?     Hey whats wrong with relaxers??? I was not allowed to get one until I was 16 yrs old! Thank God! I would run whenever a comb came my way as a kid….I still do perms cause the combs work now! My hair is very thick, and I hated hot combs….does that mean I want to be white? No. I just don’t like pain that comes with the comb out of natural hair!

    i have a grandmother who has some pretty eurofilic ideas of beauty. she’s my grandmother though, (and a foreigner) so I respect her regardless. when my sister went natural about 8 yrs ago she had a lot to say about it. but my sister never liked her hair permed because it didnt have a lot body. Now she has a big fro and everybody loves it. She’s the most confident person i know, but when she visits she takes every opportunity to run her hands through my permed hair.     You’d be surprised what women of ALL RACES do to themselves, some perm thier hair, some give thier daughters boob jobs as birthday presents, some expose themselves to cancer causing UV rays to acheive darker skin. My problem with you is that you try to make it seem as if black women are the only ones who are insecure!     agreed! the best part of our hair when well taken care of, is the fact that we can play with texture and volume. I actually don’t care what some other grown woman decides to do with her head. Yes some women have some pathalogic, attachment to thier weaves/wigs, but most of the women I know see hair like an accessory. I don’t do weaves, mainly because the type of hair and technique I’d perfer is hella expensive, I dont want that super-shiny nylon hair that alot of women have, then I’d have to buy all the products for maintenance, its just one black hole for money. But I do get braids occasionally when I get tired of wrestling with my hair everymorning.

    This debate about hair is nonsense. Not all black women have kinky course hair. not all black women have relaxers. Black women have been using straightening techniques for many ages. The straightening comb was the first straightening method. Those women didn’t desire to look white by straightening their hair. Sometimes it is too hard to comb or style and a relaxer is their method of choice. Some women who have the kinkiest form of hair choses not to wear an afro or cornrows. It is no ones business what someone choses to do with their hair. Black people have different textures and different techniques to straighten their hair. Some have hair that only needs to be blow dried and flat ironed to achieve that straight look. There are always new trends to hair grooming. Years ago it was the curly look and the jerry curl was created and the white people used a permanent waving technique to get this look. Currently Straight hair is the new craze. White people are paying a fortune for the japaneses straightening technique. If afros were to resurface as a new fad then I am sure people would wear it.

    Black people don’t all have one eye color. Tell that to my son who has light brown eyes. My oldest daughter has curly hair that is very long and not relaxed, and straightened with a blow dryer and flat iron. No chemicals needed. What a foolish woman Kigali is.     White people have different hair textures as well. Some are curly, wavy, straight, frizzy. All people are different. Only fools make generalizations about race. God made everyone different. I have done so many clients in my career that I can’t say that one hair texture is the norm for a certain race. That is foolish. EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT. Stop race baiting on line. Don’t you have something else better to do than argue about a woman’s choice of hairstyling. It is not costing you money so WHO CARES!!!

    I agree with what Ms. wallace said about Kim wanting to be white. However, I found you to be on point with her demeanor

    Bigge rapped constantly in his lyrics that he was not liked by his mother. I listened to a lot of his music and he said his mother hated him, that he was a piece of ***** and that he was going to hell. I know they had a strained relationship because of his antics, such as cutting cl***** and dope dealing. This can make a mother very angry and resentful towards a child who chose the wrong path.

    Biggie expressed himslef through his music, so I believe that he transcribed a lot of those negative feelings and images into rhymes. I find That in the Jamaican culture the parents tend to be stern, rigid, unaffectionate and cold, towards their children. I think that Ms Wallace didn’t tret her son in a caring loving way which in turn made him very angry inside and he expr4essed that anger through violence, and lyrically.

    He treated women very poorly and men who usually are promiscuous had a strained relationship with at least one of their parents.

    I know Ms. Wallace has sufferedd tremondously by losing her only son so I won’t berate her choices she made in raising her son. Having a one family income, living in Brooklyn and raising a young man can be very difficult.

    I agree with you Treasure. There is more to the emotional side of Biggie and the womanizing.

    On the other hand Lil Kim might not want the “too dark” comment to stick. Her career is not at it’s highest point and some of this backlash could make it worst. Times are hard! She might want to look at the positve side at least she was represented the the movie! They could have left her the hell out and she really would have been salty.

    It really is sad to see Lil Kim this way. I saw her a while back at the hotel I work at and she looked pretty bad then. This was before she went to jail. I could tell that she was very high at the time but she was very nice to all the employees. I hope she finds peace with herself.
