When I first heard about this earlier this week I was thinking OMG I am so happy for her. This is a miracle. I figured she had IVF but I was still happy for her.

I was thinking here is a couple who had probably been wanting kids for years and had IVF hoping at least 2 or 3 would take but they got 8.

Now, as more info come out I am shocked and SMH. Why would a single woman with 6 kids, no job, living with her mom and dad, filed bankruptcy 1 and 1/2 years ago do something like this. I mean this is freaking insane. Where did she get the money to even get IVF? Now she has 14 kids. I see why she is not showing her face.

Who is going to take care of all those kids? The grandfather could work round the clock in Iraq he still won’t be able to feed and clothe all those kids.

There was a man on TV last night who said just to give the octuplets the necessary items(formula, diapers, clothers, etc) it would cost at least a million dollars a year, then there is the other 6.

I think there is more to this story that has not come out yet.

I really don’t think this woman, knowing the situation she was in, would just jump up and decide to have more children by IVF.

i wish i could be more enthusiastic about the birth of these octuplets, but i’m not. of course i’m glad they’re all alive and healthy (at least for now), but i can’t help but feeling like their mother did an increadibly insane/selfish thing. getting pregnant and having a baby you can’t support by accident is one thing–it sucks, but it happens. but having eight viable embryos implanted when you already have six children at home? that’s just selfish and cruel, if you ask me.
