Seattle Man Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Woman Twice During A Church Service
Seattle police arrested a local man for sexually assaulting a woman at the St. Spiridon Russian Orthodox Cathedral Sunday after they say he twice assaulted a woman in the pews during the service.
Police arrested 37-year-old Aaron Little around 9:30 Sunday morning. The rector of the church, Father Yuri Maev, told KIRO 7 that Little lifted the skirt of a 25-year-old woman sitting in front of him when the parishoners stood up during the service. She had no idea it happened, but her relatives saw it and two of them hauled Little outside.
But police say, Little went right back in thru a side door and sat down next to the same woman before her relatives got back. Then police say he lifted her skirt and groped her. This time her relatives took him outside and called police.
Father Maev says Little first showed up last Sunday asking to sleep in the church. He suggested a shelter, but Little refused to leave so they called police to have him removed.
Surprisingly, he said Little’s assault was hardly noticed because the woman’s relatives quickly and quietly hustled him out of the church.
Little is a registered sex offender with a 2002 conviction for sexual assault in California. He’s in the King County jail now without bond.
Ohhhhhh there is a special, SPECIAL place in Hell awaiting this guy. Sex assault is disgusting anywhere, but IN CHURCH?! Sweet baby Jesus…
