I went to church some time around 3 months ago and my pastor made reference to Rihanna’s song “Take A Bow” when he was preaching about adultery and other ungodly things such has cheating. I was like gotdamn! My pastor knows that song. Lol
It was appropriate though…he just read a few lines from Rihanna’s song “Take A Bow”, and said that the words are true.
But this woman is wrong for busting out singing the “Single Ladies” song in church; having the band playing along and all. Too funny.

This is highly ridiculous! GOD tells us not to be conformed to the WORLD but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. You don’t use “secular” antics to reach young people for Christ. If anything, you are giving the gimmick to go out there and continue doing what they’re doing cuz “MOMMA WISDOM” said it was okay!

That’s why churches need good leaders! A good leader would’ve sat her down and made her responsible for what she did and made her apologize to the church for disrespecting the house of the Lord like this. The house of the Lord is the only place people can come and seek healing, deliverance, restoration, and most importantly, salvation for their lives.

People have been dealing with stress, trouble, and hardache all week long, they need to come to the house of Worship and let free and worship God and YOU bring wordly antics and songs into the house.

A DISGRACE!!!!

It’s not like she was singing the same exact words Beyonce was singing. She said “All the single ladies WAIT!” A plain and simple message. Everybody who preaches the word doesn’t just sit at home listening to gospel music. A lot of preachers use secular songs in their messages. Gospel bands also turn secular songs into inspirational songs such as “If u love em then u shoulda put a praise on him” to the single ladies beat. Sometimes preachers have to change it up a little bit to draw in the crowd they are trying to reach, once you get them in the door, you lead them to Jesus through the word. It’s not deceptive just creative. More power to her!

Obviously you don’t know what the word “sanctified” means. It means to be set apart. I would love to break it down for you, but I can see that commenting in depth on this topic would be like giving pearls to swines. Ain’t gonna happen.

Now based on these definitions when the Bible uses the word “CONFORM” it speaks of complying with the world’s standards or ways. The world sings “SINGLE LADIES.” This song does not glorify or bring honor to God in any type of way. As a matter of fact, it is the reason that young women are dancing in the clubs seductively, dressing trashy and w*****-like, and resembling everything that will cause for a guy to approach them (although they may be a sweet girl)in the wrong manner.

People, don’t get mad at me!!! Get mad at the Word! I didn’t write the standards for the church, GOD gave the commands to Paul to write for order in the church. Read your Bible! It’s not about being “holier than thou” or “perfect” but it’s about obedience. We must obey what God’s Word says and not compromise or make excuses for the love of attention.

Ask yourself this one question, now if Jesus would have came and sat down in this church and saw this, knowing that song has brought glory to the devil, would he have been happy? You be the judge…

They are going to hear hers and I’m sure Mother Wisdom knows that cause Mother Wisdom ain’t always been saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. That’s why she’s called Mother Wisdom, cause Mother Wisdom had to go through some things in order to know, OH-OH-OH-OH-OH-OOOH WAIT!!!. I am saddened. The times of the end are so near. I have NEVER, EVER in my life saw so many “so-called” Christians compromise the way we do now. We stand up for Holiness. Now, we feel that in order to win people for Christ, we gotta have a “gimmick” or a “secret method” or a “hook.” NO!!!! The Word of God is powerful alone all by itself to win souls. God’s book never needs a gimmick. That’s why the Bible says He who winneth souls must be WISE!

The world uses “gimmicks” to lure and deceive you to join truth. Satan is the Father of Lies. Jesus said HE IS THE TRUTH AND THE WAY AND THE LIFE. Jesus does not DECEIVE people into coming to church by using worldly methods, why? That brings glory and honor to the devil!

We love to say HE TAKES WHAT THE DEVIL MEANT FOR BAD AND TURNS IT TO GOOD!!!! LIE!!! I’m not saying I don’t agree with that phrase but it’s being used out of context. Jesus needs nothing from the devil! He stops the devil before he has an opportunity to pollute it.

Sometimes what we are arguing is not just about religion/spirituality and the world, its about mentoring, wisdom, and common sense. Who cares if she used a secular song in the church. Thats not the point of message and thats why so many people claim they leave the church, but do many of those same people stop and ask themselves did they do anything to turn what was wrong into something right. So you can’t criticize the people in the church for trying to reach the youth their way, because the ones who could have done a more effective job of reaching them, left the church because, “oh my God I can’t stand fake christians”. Everybody is fake, learn to overcome adversity, so that you can be the one to change it.

Okay, DMARI,-oouch- don’t get so mad, it was just a one person comment, if you didn’t like it, then let it go. First I wasn’t judging or bashing Beyonce’, I was simply making a critical observation of her life from what we can see (which can be barely scratching the surface of who she is), but that is all we have to go from,- much like what many people are doing to Mother Wisdom. Secondly, How can you comment about me when you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about me. You know more about Beyonce than you do me. So really, how do you know that I am not inspiring my youth and community. How do you know I am not a song writer, neither one of us really know who we are talking to.

AND Fan of Bee- I give it to you, the song can be inspirational, but just because something isn’t my cup of tea dosen’t mean that i cant comment. I wasn’t talking about her art anyways, DID I SAY she couldn’t sing, singing is her art. I was talking about mother wisdom and why she was singing the song, as well as the song sending a different message, from the video its saying if you liked my body and the sex you should have put a ring on it, and that is why mother wisdom was trying to use the song as a metaphor for her sermon of purity and marriage, and why single women, may still be single. So I wouldn’t call the song necessarily inspirational. The song says you should have put a ring on it, but what does that mean to the relationship, some men do put a ring on it, and either stay engaged for many years,or are divorced within 3 years, or just committing adultery every chance they get. So in the end how does saying you should have put a ring on it really encourage women to give their man the ultimatum, if you prefer his love and believe you deserve it, say just that to him, and save your virginity and body until he does just that, puts a ring on it. But hey i do believe that too most, many,or some people the song is a strong and empowering song.
So While I WON”T SIT DOWN -DMARI-, I will leave the commenting to other commentors.

(amen preacher) Put a jimmy on it (that right) See ah when you ah squat ah I mean squirt, no no I mean squat you must make sure that you are squirting duh I mean squating for the right person. (you see) squating is an art, so when you squat make sure that you aren’t squirting (hmm thats right) because when you squirt and their aint no jimmy on it, you might get swollin. Many of you are misinterpreting this video and the message. This was a comedian of the church that addressing the women in the church. Beyonce’s single ladies was used in reference to 1 Corinthians 6 telling the women they should wait to commit adultery and wait to have sex before marriage. For those who are saved we all know the body is of the temple and once we commit sins like adultery against it we are being disobedient to God. We must “WAIT” on these things as Mother Wisdom states in her message.

I don’t see anything wrong with this. Some people don’t know how to discern what they watch. Some things are spiritually discerned and there is nothing she has done that was wrong. She told the single women to wait, which is what the word of God says they should do. Single women should not have sex unless they are married. I didn’t write it – God wrote it. Judge not least ye be judged, for what measure you meet out, it will be measured back to you. Weigh a whole matter before you put your mouth on it. Selah.
