AND Fan of Bee- I give it to you, the song can be inspirational, but just because something isn’t my cup of tea dosen’t mean that i cant comment. I wasn’t talking about her art anyways, DID I SAY she couldn’t sing, singing is her art. I was talking about mother wisdom and why she was singing the song, as well as the song sending a different message, from the video its saying if you liked my body and the sex you should have put a ring on it, and that is why mother wisdom was trying to use the song as a metaphor for her sermon of purity and marriage, and why single women, may still be single. So I wouldn’t call the song necessarily inspirational. The song says you should have put a ring on it, but what does that mean to the relationship, some men do put a ring on it, and either stay engaged for many years,or are divorced within 3 years, or just committing adultery every chance they get. So in the end how does saying you should have put a ring on it really encourage women to give their man the ultimatum, if you prefer his love and believe you deserve it, say just that to him, and save your virginity and body until he does just that, puts a ring on it. But hey i do believe that too most, many,or some people the song is a strong and empowering song.

First of all—I NEVER mentioned ANYTHING about ME being a Christian! The lady Preacher is the one who professed that and If I remember clearly I commented on what I was bought up on and was used to.
