Lea Michele Speaks Out For First Time Since Cory Monteith Death

Hollyweird actress and girlfriend of former “Glee” cast member Cory Monteith, who died of a drug overdose earlier this month, has spoken out (and posted the picture above) for the first time since his passing

Lea Michele has spoken out publicly for the first time since Cory Monteith died of a drug overdose on July 13.

Having previously thanked fans for their support in a statement through her publicist, the Glee star took to Twitter today and once again addressed followers and loved ones, writing:

“Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.”

Monteith has been cremated and Michele was joined by fellow cast members for a private memorial last Thursday.

Despite the fact that his drug addiction was no secret, Cory’s death seems to truly have shocked many of those that were closest to him.
