We need to wake up Black people.     good point sparkle. i don’t want some white dude saying, “Hey *****,” and making the excuse of it being an album for calling me out my name! Lawd i hope fights and protest don’t begin. it is unnessary. We are already dealing with Jena 6 and other situations that haven’t reached the media. I think it’s a stupid title. i don’t see Ricky Martin coming out with a “F@g” album. (Sorry ricky) It’s publicity and it’s a damn shame that one can sacrifice all of our elder’s hard work for bringing that word to other races attention. if you watch ALL IN THE FAMILY. That n word is used so common. How in the hell can we reverse their work? What’s next, a rapper is going to think Jim Crow laws should be on a t-shirt. Come on!

    ***** ***** ***** remember that song on the Tribe called Quest Midnight Maruders..Who cares about the ***** all it means is a Sottish person or ignorant person..Any race can be called a *****…We Black folk or so-called African Americans are *****s because the bible states we are the Lost Tribes of Israel the Hebrew Israelites this is what we are?

    Psalms 83:4 states: They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a NATION; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance…Another key verse Deut 28:37=states And you shalt become an astonishment, a PROVERB, and a byword, among all nations where Yahweh shall lead you….So what is the big deal about the word when majority of our people think we are Afro-Americans or a Negroe..

    Nas is a desperate fool, and with all his talk of Africa, he hasn’t learned a damned thing. Try meditating on the word “*****” and see how it makes you feel. That’s like trying to change the meaning of the word “Hate”. You can’t make a bad thing good by repetition. Even if you’re no longer conciously affected by it, it still affects you.

    I’m not particularly fond of the album title myself but why the issue with Nas though? What about ***** Gregory, Richard Pryor, & 2Pac? What about other rappers that use “*****” in their song titles? How about it coming up in a song like every 3rd word?

    & who gives a ***** about what Bill O’Racist thinks anyway? He doesn’t even accept Black people as his equal so what diff does it make what Nas calls his album? Anytime he talks about Black folks, he’s being condescending & *****ting on Hip Hop & discussing the high percentage of single moms as if it concerns his White *****. LOL at giving a ***** about what O’Reilly has to say.

    This is a powerful statement! Are black people going to live for generations fighting people using the word *****! We need to confront the issue and he is starting a crusade which will hopefully de-mystify the derogatory nature of the word *****. This guy is extremely intelligent and his music usually carries strong messages for our race etc Let’s all wait and see what the album is about. Time will tell whether he was wrong or right!
