2013 has been an incredible year in music with several quality albums that you absolutely NEED in your collection. With several big-name releases spread across the next few weeks, it's easily the most exciting fourth quarter in recent memory. Here are the ten most anticipated releases for the rest of 2013. Take a look.
Drake “Nothing Was The Same” (Sept. 17) The waffle-colored Simp Lord watched Hovvie Hov, J. Cole, Wale and Kanye fight over 2nd place behind Kendrick Lamar and now it’s Drizzy’s turn to challenge for the throne.
Beyonce “TBA” (Unknown) We don’t know what Queen Beysus is doing. Her label doesn’t know. We doubt she even knows. But we DO know 2013 is almost over and she’s yet to release an official single.
Justin Timberlake “The 20/20 Experience: Pt. 2” (Sept. 27) Part 1 JAMMED so we’re sure Pt. 2 does, too.
Janelle Monae “Electric Lady” (Sept. 10) The bubbly Soul Quirkstress’ debut album "The ArchAndroid" was musically-infectious and we doubt "Electric Lady" will be any different. Prince, Erykah Badu, Solange, Miguel & Esperanza Spalding features? MUST-COP.
D’Angelo “James River” (Unknown) The beloved Neo-Soul crooner announced that his first album in 13 years would drop this year before his recent struggles with an “mystery illness.”
Pusha T “My Name Is My Name” (Sept. 31) After several album delays and buzz singles, it’s finally go-time for everyone's favorite trap philosopher.
Robert Glasper “Black Radio 2” (Oct. 29) Jill Scott, Brandy, Marsha Ambrosius, Common, Mos Def, Dwele, Anthony Hamilton, Faith Evans, Norah Jones, Emeli Sandé, Lupe and Snoop on the same album? Yep. Don’t sleep on this.
ScHoolboy Q “Oxymoron” (TBA) You have the juice when your lead singles ("Yay Yay"/“Collard Greens Feat. Kendrick) BANG. "TDE > everyone else.
The Foreign Exchange “Love In Flying Colors” (September 24) Looking for something musically-fresh and soulful? Pre-order this (and cop the first three FE albums). You’re welcome.
