@Ava…I believe the neurosurgeon was called upon complications of the surgery she was having (lipo and tummy tuck). It is my thought that perhaps she had a seziure steeming from a reaction to the medication. I’ve heard that often times plastic surgeons try to take out more fat than they should thus creating a very dangerous situation. Watever the case, for Tameka, Usher and those children’s sake, I pray she make a full recovery and all is well. No matter what you opinions are about Mrs. Raymond, she doesn’t deserve any ill. Halle Berry doesn’t even look like Halle Berry after surgery. People please! Pictures are doctored to evoke an image that the mainstream media wants us to buy into. (And most do) There is a reason these celebs elect to have c-sections (they typically get tummy tucks upon delivering. Often times, these celebs starve themselves (eating less than 1200 cal a day) and exercise themselves literally to near death just to portray a fallacious image of themselves. This is madness! There are healthier alternatives. Tameka obviously felt precious to look a certain way. (I believe she is an attractive woman) Perhaps it’s self inflicted, perhaps the public scrutiny was too much, but whatever the case, please bossipers, do your research and if elect to proceed with plastic surgery, understanding there could be devastating consequences.

what are you talking about? neurosurgeons treat issues dealing with the nerves… including those in your brain and spine. Arteries and veins would be a vascular surgeon… If she had some sort of stroke or bleed from a clot (a very real complication of just about any major surgery) they’d still be calling a neurosurgeon…

I have a friend who is convinced she’s going to get surgery to increase the size of her bum (fat from hips, stomach implanted in her butt) Yeah, she’s flat as a pancake, but so what? There is no talking her out of it and even considering the risks, her self-consciousness about her nassatall outweighs the dangers. I don’t get it…Unless I was jacked up in an accident or something…there is no way on God’s green earth that I’m going under the knife for vanity’s sake.

Plastic surgery in Brazil is CRAZY. The person cooking in the back of a restaurant has probably had extensive plastic surgery done.

I was in sao Paulo, Brazil last year and people were telling me that for $500 US, I could have a tummy tuck, a chin tuck and my arms done.

“My arms, there’s nothing wrong with my arms?” That was besides the point. The point was that $500 could cover any THREE procedures, depending on where you went.

i know what ischemia is and it doesn’t = a neurology consult… unless it was her brain or spinal cord that became ischemic… if her kidneys had infarcted they would have called a nephrologist… if her heart had gotten “ischemic” they’d call a cardiologist… if there had been a clot in her VEINS as you claim… it might not be that big of a deal considering it’s your ARTERIES that supply oxygenated blood to your tissues… clots don’t necessarily become symptomatic until they get stuck in an artery or totally block a large or important vessel off (clots usually end up in the heart, lungs or brain which can then cause major problems)… if they’re flying in a neurologist something’s probably either wrong with her brain or any of the nerves throughout her body… they could have hit something during lipo or accidentally sliced something during a tuck or she could have thrown a clot and had a stroke… there’s a bunch of things that could have happened… i still wish her the best…
