Pac Man has a very…”interesting” taste in decor…
Boxer Manny Pacquiao Lists His $2.7 Million Los Angeles Home
One of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world is training for a knockout in a new arena: real estate. Manny Pacquiáo, the Fighting Pride of the Phillipines, has listed his mansion in Los Angeles.
The storied prizefighter purchased his home in Hancock Park for $2.17 million in early 2009, right around the time he KO’d Ricky Hatton with a brutal left hook to retain “The Ring” light welterweight championship. He could make a $630,000 profit on the home — a bit less than his $12 million purse for the Hatton bout — if it sells for its listing price of $2.7 million.
Built in 2008, Pacquiáo’s pad offers five bedrooms, six baths and nearly 4,275 square feet. The home opens to a fantastic foyer with 22-foot ceilings and comes well appointed with custom finishes like Walker Zanger tiles, Haisa marble and Brazilian teak-wood floors. In terms of amenities, Pacquiáo’s home features a gourmet kitchen with a built-in coffee bar and a second-floor master suite with a glass shower and bathtub. Outside, the athlete’s property complements the inside with a pool and spa that has a fire and waterfall feature.
