Venus’ “EleVen” Launch

Serena Williams came out to support her sister Venus last night at the launch party for her clothing line “EleVen” at Tenjune in NYC. Damn, Serena is still trying to sex it up, and she might actually be getting good at it. Venus still has some way to go, but she is definitely looking waaaay better than she was the last time we saw her.

The nice thing about her line is that it is priced cheaply – like shirts for $7.99. They have a lot of young fans. So, it’s nice that her stuff is affordable. Often, celebs who do clothing lines feel compelled to price the clothing out of reach for many. I give her kudos for keeping her stuff affordable.
Leave Venus alone. For once, she is looking nice and not like a hot *****ing mess.

We must not be looking at the same photos. IMO, Serena is looking very much like a boy in these photos. Yes, I meant Serena, not Venus.
Venus has a boy shape, which is not a bad thing. She just needs to wear clothing that make her body more shapely.
They look great. No one ever looks perfect so I have no negative comments about either of them. What I do have to say is:
They are talented, intelligent and they have NEVER been: caught taking drugs, on a sextape, drunk in public, having babies out of wedlock, hating on other celebs, hating on each other…that makes them

Serena’s had better days. In the 3rd pic her hair doesn’t looks so smooth & you can see the fly-aways. I like the material of her dress cuz it’s so wrinkled. Plus, she ODs with them “come hither” expressions. She’a an attractive girl & all she needs to do is flash those pearly whites.
Her man is hitting that ish right…….and she musta given her stylist a pay raise! LOL

aside from Rena’s ashy knees, they both look incredible. Like me, these women are fierce, strong, successful, black women. In a way, their closeness reminds me of the bond i share wid my sister LaTonya. Stay close girls, in this world, the only way for women to reach the top is if we come together in sisterhood. I went to Steve and Barry’s for the first time this summer. Their clothes feel like sandpaper. Why get a scatchy $20 hoodie when I can get a good one from Hanes for $5 more?

Saw Venus on Good Morning America and am happy about her affordable line. Stuff is so inexpensive, I was wondering about the quality. Anyhoo, it’s probably good stuff.
