Law enforcement sources have now gotten specific with us… police took pictures of Rihanna’s injuries and they are “horrific.”

The bite marks on her arm and fingers suggest that she may have had something in her hand (like a weapon) and he more than likely was using his teeth to get it out of her hand to make her drop it. I guess it depends on if the bite marks were on the inside of her hand or outside. The inside would suggest she may have been pushing him away. The outside would support the earlier statement. There are 2 sides to every story so just think of it from a self defense point of view. A Herpes symplex infection is in you from birth, you either only are a carrier and never get it yourself, or you get it. Some people get a fever blister just by looking at something gross. And having a fever blister on your lip doesn’t mean you have genital herpes.

An early morning altercation with Brown after a pre-Grammy Awards party left Rihanna with bruises and a scratch on her face, according to police sources. She was treated at a “major medical facility,” a police source said.

Brown, 19, has a double-platinum record and dance moves often compared to Michael Jackson’s. He fled before officers arrived, police said.

He remained free on $50,000 bail, but neither he nor his attorney would speak about allegations that rocked the Grammys ceremony. Brown and Rihanna were both nominated; neither attended the ceremony.

not that it matters but i’ll give you guys a couple of facts since no one else has bothered:

1 – Rihanna doesn’t have to press charges. In battery cases, it’s up to the district attorney based on a police investigation. The 911 caller probably heard him make a threat which probably is why he is charged with making criminal threats. It is even possible that when Chris turned himself in that he copped to threatening her but said they were both involved in an altercation. Furthermore, a victim (even if she/he participated in the altercation) doesn’t have to cooperate with the police in any way. Any physical evidence collected is enough to make a case. (It’s likely that had Chris not left the scene, they would’ve both been charged with battery. Fleeing the scene of a crime is not automatically an admission of guilt but is highly suspicious activity).

2 – Unless a person has only one partner, it is impossible to positively conclude that another person has given him/her herpes. Many people never show symptoms but can still pass the disease to others. Although the CDC reports 1 of 5 people have herpes, these reports are based on people who have outbreaks whether that be on the lips or genitals.

What happened?

There are two possibilities here:
