that was a bogus hating statement about black movies and flops if it does it will be a shame but I don’t think it will be a flop soul food wasn’t written by tyler perry it was a black family movie. This is needed we need something else like that a side from tyler perry.

As far as the song though he should have left it alone. Dru Hill remade this song before and it sounded really really nice they did it justice of course the originals are the best. If you want to get away with a remake and make it classic you have to do like MAry J Blige and pick ones that no one actually listened to.

Saw it on 106 and Park as well; Liked it, loved it; Chris is an ICON and I enjoy watching him perform. Also the movie did $30,000,000 at the box office and got a lot of rave reviews. Not bad at all for a first-timer.
