Chante Moore Reveals True Feelings About Kelly Price

The first season of R&B Divas L.A. ended with a bang, to say the least, and now that filming has wrapped, cast member Chante Moore is speaking out to clear up a few things.

Chante recently stopped by The Jasmine Brand, where she gave a detailed interview about all things R&B Divas including their tour that isn’t happening, Kelly Price’s shady behavior on and off of the show and much more.

Check out a few excerpts below.

On the ‘R&B Divas Tour’ announcement made by Kelly during the reunion show:
“Well it was a premature announcement that was made by Kelly. I didn’t know that she’s going to make that announcement on the show but I thought that I should let it go at that time because the reunion was taped a couple of weeks ago. I thought by now, it would be cleared up or settled – that it would happen or would be for sure, or either way and at this moment, nothing is happening. That tour was cancelled so I was a little uneasy by that [announcement].

I did get the list of people and I was ready to do it and I still would do it. What I didn’t like is that it [the announcement] was made before paperwork was done.”

On who was really behind the ‘divalogues’ idea:
“It was not Kelly’s idea, but if you go back and listen, she always says, “The idea, I present it to the ladies”. She never says, “My idea” – she never says it. And it was not her idea, otherwise we would get sued, she would have shut everything down because it would have been her idea; because we would have never been able to [still] do it if it was hers.

I just really want to get it [out] that I wasn’t trying to take over anything – the producers were producing as far as – “Here is the man that’s going to be the director” and we all complied because we weren’t the bosses, we were hired! She was hired, I was hired, and all six ladies were hired by the production company.”

Sounds like drama on top of drama!

Chante also went IN on Kelly for blaming the editing for her portrayal on the show and lying about requesting not to shoot scenes with her, and she also came clean about the real nature of her relationship with Kelly before ‘R&B Divas’ L.A.  along with whether or not she’s see Kelly and Dawn’s monologues.

Check out what else she had to say on the flip.
