Sad situation period. Did anyone watch that ET special on Kanye and his mom’s death? They had another chick (outside of this sponge incident) that she had a tummy tuck that healed all wrong, almost causing death? they said that former patients are coming out of the woodwork on this freak of a DR.

This is not a good situation any whay you put it. It is sad to see someone dying in the public eye for something to be done. And not showing up to court! Coward! Leaving a sponge in someone’s body, come on! He doesn’t have a staff supporting the surgeries? The news showed his office where he did Ms. D West’s surgery and it is above a Kinkos next to a McDonalds (or some quickie restaurant). The location seems dangerous now but I am sure with the accrediations he has under his belt, I’m pretty sure people could over look the building. I hope something changes in the way these unethical doctors operate.

Some of the responsibility lies on Dr. West. She was obviously a rational, intelligent person. If one Doctor tells you he needs clearance, but the other says nothing…doesn’t ones spider sense get to tingling?

THis should not have happened, he should have his license suspended, but she shars some of th efault.

I predict a “Soprano” hit on Dr. Jan Adams. No one will have to worry about him performing plastic surgery ever again……………………because he won’t have any fingers left……… and no ass to sit down on either. He’s toast!!!

I think she has some blame but she doesn’t deserve to lose her life. But I’m pretty sure the warnings of one doctor didn’t outweigh another doctor saying it’s okay and the pressures of vanity in hollywood. It may not have been hollywood but something she always wanted to do when she had the money. I feel as though doctors should be more concerned with health than money.

But like you said. Dr. West wasn’t a fool so me personally was shocked she went ahead. But when you desire something so bad and someone tells you no. Usually its over. You may feel awful or cheated in some way but when someone else comes in the picture and tells you, “You can”, that sometimes outweigh rationality but not worth a life.

I think the police are using this as a way to get Adams to come in for questioning about Donda’s surgery and ask him what does he think lead to her death, so they can find evidence of wrongdoing on his part and charge him with some sort of homicide. If so, good going L.A. County! He could get 10-20 or even life behind reckless homicide.
