R&B singer Chris Brown held a secret meeting in Los Angeles on Thursday night with his family and close friends to discuss his bombshell arrest following an alleged altercation with Rihanna and the ensuing wave of bad press. A source exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that Brown’s mother was among the people there, and that he attempted to calm everyone down. The source says Brown told his family and friends that he and Rihanna have “officially broken up”. Brown does not think Rihanna will seek charges against him and that he will NOT go to jail. Instead, Brown thinks he’ll face fines. The source tells us Brown’s final words to everybody was ” Protect me. “I’m your homeboy”.
Representatives of Chris Brown may be on the lookout for a crisis-management expert to help the R&B crooner rehabilitate his image in light of his arrest on felony battery charges for assaulting his girlfriend, Rihanna, multiple sources have confirmed. Among the experts who have been recommended to Brown’s people were Alan Nierob, the veteran Hollywood publicist who advised Mel Gibson in 2006 after he spewed anti-Semitic comments at an arresting officer during a drunk-driving incident; and Howard Bragman, who repped Isaiah Washington in 2007 after Washington used an antigay slur to refer to costar T.R. Knight on the set of “Grey’s Anatomy,” reports Entertainment Weekly. More…
Also, the reports of Chris going at RiRi via Facebook are false:
A source close to Chris Brown tells Usmagazine.com that the singer hasn’t been updating his Facebook status with messages about Rihanna. Reports surfaced in the New York Post that Brown — who was arrested last Sunday after allegedly assaulting Rihanna — wrote “You’ll begin to see her true colors. Believe it!” But the source tells Us: “Due to the dubious nature of the Facebook page, I don’t know how anybody would believe this. Of course Chris did not comment himself and this is not his Facebook page. “A little research shows that there are tons of Chris imposters on both Myspace and Facebook and none of them are Chris, including this one,” continues the source.
