We all know this to be true: at least part of what you see in reality shows is faked for cameras. While sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s what, some celebrities will come out and say they were just putting on for ratings boosts.
Here are some examples of the fakest reality show moves out.
Che Mack – She claimed she was told to try to chop down Steebie to boost ratings.
K. Michelle – She said her slorey ways were amped up to boost ratings.
Kirk – There was speculation Kirk’s split was just a ratings ploy.
Tami Roman – She said she added some fights to her repertoire to boost ratings as well.
Dawn Robinson – She said R&B Divas producers wanted them to spread as much drama as possible.
NeNe Leakes – Rumor spread that she was going to marry old a$$ Gregg to boost ratings.
Nicki Minaj – Mariah Carey accused her team of inciting the fights to boost ratings.
American Idol – They’re being sued for exploiting Black contestants for ratings.
Making The Band – Diddy was accused of orchestrating those fistfights to get people to tune in.
