The key to ending domestic violence is by recognizing the signs and stop enabling it. That goes for both men and women. By all accounts she was the one who would get physical during arguments but of course as a man it is looked upon as wrong or weak to address it. We should be supportive of both and hope that they both learn from this experience and stop putting Rihanna on a pedestal. In an interview with Star magazine, Holmes discussed stars and their entourages.

NO swelling, which is impossible with the amount of color she had on the lip. ie, it is very likely she augmented her face to make it appear like she was beaten-but her “beauty” was untouched. Descriptions of Rhianna are consistent with what REALLY happens to someone with multiple facial contusions-they are swollen and distorted beyond belief. The fact that Paris never was means she was unlikely to have been hit in the face–and THAT is why a big deal wasn’t made of it–she was unwilling to put a lie up to the legal test. i can tell by your posts that your vocabulary is rather limited so i will try my best to put what i have to say in layman terms. I don’t know chris and i don’t know rihanna but musically i always perfered chris brown over the bajan beauty b/c in my opinon one is more talented than the other. You are right that there are no pictures of her out here in the public. But the police took pictures of her at the site, and back at the station. They will stand up in court, along with the police statements, and her statements. LA does not require the woman to place charges herself at all. Even if Rhianna doesn’t press charges at this point, the law courts could still advance with charges against Brown. The 911 call, the pictures, statements made by her and police are irrefutable at this point. Compare this to the Parisgate–no 911, no call to police, questionable pictures that don’t hold up to forensic scrutiny and actual later denials by Paris to police. That is why this is different–NOT their race.

Once again, this situation with Chris and Rihanna is a gray–not black and white.

I saw a youtube interview of CB talking to DJ clue. Seems so strange that the conversation which was late last year, perhaps december is so close to this incident. Last night at the NAACP awards, winner Will Smith took the time out to say his opinion on the Chris Brown and Rihanna drama. He said, “People should take a minute before they jump on it and judge. We don’t know nothing. If there are mistakes people make, then they should be willing to live up to the mistakes and do whatever penance they need to do. I don’t think it’s up to us, specifically the media, with such a fast hand to try to chop someone’s head off.”
