Was he high too?

Drunk Teen Crashes Into Taco Bell Four Times

He might have been thinking outside the bun — but inside the liquor bottle. An intoxicated Georgia teen crashed his car into a Taco Bell four separate times early Sunday morning, police said.

Via NY Daily News reports:

Armando Lupercio, 19, of Duluth, Ga., went off-road in his pickup truck about 12:30 a.m. and crashed into a tree right before he smashed into the Taco Bell’s glass façade, reported the Gwinnett Daily Post.

Then Lupercio proceeded to loop around the drive-through and hit the building three more times, a Gwinnett County police officer said.

“I felt the driver’s intent was to strike any object or person within the path of the truck,” the officer wrote in the arrest report.

The patrolling officer said he responded when he heard tires screeching and a woman screaming for help and finally got Lupercio to stop revving his engine by drawing his gun.

“I’m sorry, but the gas pedal was stuck,” Lupercio said, according to the report. Despite this apparently half-baked excuse, Lupercio’s problems are now muy grande.

Lupercio emerged from the vehicle with glazed eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. He reportedly tested 0.142 blood-alcohol content, which is above the 0.08 limit.

He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of alcohol by a minor, improper lane change, criminal damage to property and aggravated assault.

He is in Gwinnett County jail in lieu of $47,600. It is unlikely he will “Live Mas” or chow down on some late-night chalupas until he gets out.
