Maybe now Celtics fans can get some closure…
Kevin Garnett Selling His $4.85 Million Massachusetts Home
Kevin Garnett is throwing it down in a new town, so the former Boston Celtics forward has decided to sell his sprawling, glamorous Concord, MA home.
Garnett’s majestic contemporary estate sits on a secluded 12-acre parcel overlooking a pond, but it’s the sleek elegance of the 11,000-square-foot house that will catch the eye of anyone capable of shelling out $4.85 million, which is what the 37-year-old Garnett is asking.
Garnett and his wife, Brandi, said they’ll treasure the memories they have of the home, but it’s time to let it go.
Garnett made headlines in 1997 when he signed a $126 million deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves and continues to rack up $28 million in annual salary and endorsements. But maybe he needs to free up some cash to afford a new spread in his very pricey new town: New York.
Designed by award-winning architects Machado and Silvetti Associates, creators of the Getty Villa in Malibu, Garnett’s Boston-area home is a showstopper. With 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, the place is a contemporary masterpiece, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, a wine cellar, gym and media room.
