Pregnant 16-Year-Old Girl With Mental Disorders Missing

It’s one thing to be 16 and pregnant, but 16 and pregnant and suffering from depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder?? So sad.

According to NBC Los Angeles:

Police put out a critical missing bulletin Saturday for a pregnant 16-year-old with mental disorders and impairments. Joyce Lubrin, 16, did not have money or cell phones, police said. She was 7 1/2 months pregnant and was described as mentally disabled and suffering from depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, according to the Glendale Police Department.

She reportedly ran away from home with her two sisters, who were found safe Saturday night at a friend’s house after the friend’s mother recognized them from news reports. The girls were living with their grandmother, and their mother was restricted from seeing them, said Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz, a department spokesman. Joyce was last seen Friday. The girls each left separately over the course of the day, he said.

Joyce had run away before. Her sisters hadn’t, he said. The girls frequented the Glendale Galleria and Americana shopping malls. They often visited the Apple store to use the display computers to communicate with friends, Lorenz said. It remained unclear where Joyce might have been headed.

Joyce was described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall, 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white tank top, a blue hooded sweatshirt and a gray jacket.

Glad that her sisters are safe, but hopefully they find Joyce soon. We pray that she’s safe.
