As the ongoing government shut down comes dangerously close to the 2-week mark with U.S. citizens across the country continuing to vocalize their outrage over the inability of Congress to work together and find a solution, many are beginning to point the finger at President Obama.

A crowd converged on the World War II Memorial on the National Mall on Sunday, pushing past barriers to protest the memorial’s closing under the government shutdown.z
Republican Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah, along with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, were part of the demonstrators.
Cruz and Lee are among the tea party-backed lawmakers who refused to keep the government operating unless President Barack Obama agreed to defund the nation’s health care overhaul.
Taking advantage of the nation’s frustrations, Tea Party radicals along with a few conservative bandwagoners joined forces with veterans to protest the closing of the WWII Memorial with confederate flags flying and racist sentiments echoing throughout the crowd.

Roughly 200 people descended on the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. on Sunday to protest the site’s closing and push for the impeachment of President Obama—whom they referred to as a Muslim while waving a confederate flag.
“I call upon all of you to wage a second American nonviolent revolution,” said a member of a conservative political advocacy group. “Demand that this president leave town…put the Quran down… get up off his knees…and come out with his hands up,” he continued. What the “Million Vet March on the Memorials,” lacked in numbers, it made up for in offensive statements, sending Twitter into an uproar.
Funny how Republicans can so willingly take part in this protest when they are equally to blame for the memorial being closed as their House counterparts continue to refuse to backdown from their demands to have Obamacare defunded in order to end the shutdown.
