Sometimes albums get delayed due to singles not poppin’, an artist’s personal issues, or beef with the record label. Here are 9 artists who have had their albums pushed back time and time again.

Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne’s The Carter IV was originally slated for a June 2011 release, but got pushed back to August 29, 2011. Wayne’s song “John” with Rick Ross not blowing up and his busy tour schedule were to blame.

Beyonce

Her album Mrs. Carter was suppose to come out April 16, but got put on the back burner due to her promotional singles “Bow Down” and “I Been On” falling flat. How do you go on tour with no major album to promote?

Young Jeezy

Young Jeezy’s Thug Motivation 103 got pushed back for 2 years with a final release date of December 20, 2011. Damn.

Ciara

Ciara’s album “Fantasy Ride” almost got pushed back to when pigs fly, but finally was released on December 10, 2010.

Usher

Usher’s album Raymond vs. Raymond got pushed back to March 26, 2010 because his mom bumped heads with his boo thang Grace Miguel.

Chris Brown

Chris’ “X” album got pushed back AGAIN from November 19 to December 3. Good news for Breezy fans: he is adding five more songs to “X” to make up for the delay.
