BETTER THAN WHAT THE “ENTERTAINMENT” INDUSTRY IS

GIVING THEM..IF THEY WERE WHITE IT WOULD’VE BEEN

Yes, people do hate on Halle…if they are not talking about her acting, they are talking about her being mixed..if they are not talking about that, they are talking about her dating a white man. To say people dont hate on her is a little naive.

If Halle’s name is the first name out there when good roles come up..it could be because she is considered one of the top actresses. Why? Because she worked hard to be where she is. When I look at old pics of Halle or Will or Denzel….they hardly ever were out parting…they were always searching for ways to evolve and on their grind. Its not their fault that they get chosen for roles. And people shouldn’t be mad at Halle for it either. As I said, she work hard to get to where she is, the same way Taraji has worked her butt off to get into her position, I suggest the other women continue to work hard and do the same. Not everyone is going to get nominated for an Oscar wether they are black or white. Halle Berry was chosen the same way Denzel and Will were chosen, they get paid the big bucks..it is what it is.

You saying that “America excepts Halle more” as if thats her fault. And thats the way people act…I read somewhere that Halle has even passed on roles in hopes that another black actress would get them. Did you even know that? Also, Halle produced an HBO movie that was real successful called Lackawana Blues that was nothing but black people..im not sure where you are going when you say “Halle doesn’t act with black woman”. You are pretty much exposing youself and proving my point. Oh yeah and “Baps” and “Boomerang” were movies where she has not played a broken down-troden character and played next to black women, LOL! Either way, im not sure how much Halle goes about picking her co-stars, I think that is pretty much up to the casting director.

You thinking Elis (who I mentioned in my list of good actresses) and Thandie that are better then Halle is your opinion, the same way that while I think Kimberly Elis is a good actress but sometimes tends to over act and Thandi (who also pretty much has the same roles as Halle and doesn’t get a chance to act next to black people as much yet you dont have a problem with her) is probably about the same level as Halle is in my opinion. It just seems to me that some of you have double standards when it comes to Halle Berry, you’ll call her out for something yet accept others for doing the same, interresting.

P.S If some of you want to be mad at anybody for taking roles from other black women..be mad at Beyonce. She is not a real actress yet keeps getting roles, regardless of how irrelevent some of the roles might be, those roles could be going to other up and coming REAL black actresses. Beyonce is not going to take away any roles from the top actresses like Halle or Angela Bassett…but she could be taking away roles from up and comings. I will support her when it comes to her performing, but I wont support mediocrity when it comes to her acting. Thats a perfect example right there.

And whatever became of Vanessa Bell Calloway? Her and Angela Bassett together in ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ were fiya!
