Did you miss the memo? Over exposed and greediness and their stans (stalker/fans is why I can’t stand them. Who said I was hating, I was being real, just like the folks that went and bought that Alicia album. The glitter dresses and fakeness and Tina and Matthew Knowles are what is bad for the music industry. The industry should be about the music so if your GIRL ain’t bringing it don’t say I’m hating!! EVERYBODY in showbiz is greedy to some extent that’s why they are in the biz.I do have the American Gangster c.d and I can tell you at least my opinion of it, it’ in his top 4, hell maybe even top 3 of his collection. But only people that dislike him and MJ (GREATNESS) will remember their failure’s.

i love a keys and she deserves all this success and more. but as some others have mentioned, why mention jay-z and beyonce at all? we complain that they are overexposed but we talk about them all the time (i’m one of those people so i’m not criticizing, just making a point). american gangster is not a bad album, better than kingdom come (which i also liked), and jay-z will go platinum regardless of this 70% sales drop. can’t we be happy that a black man tied elvis’s record for #1 albums? as far as beyonce…I’M SICK OF HER ASS AND APPARENTLY SHE OWNS BET TOO…THEY’RE SHOWING THE BEYONCE EXPERIENCE DVD CONCERT TONIGHT AND THE REST OF THE WEEK. First off what the HELL does Jay z and Beyonce have to do with Ms. Keys? She is talented in her own right and she probably doesnt give a good damn what they do and that is what makes her who she is. Wow my girl doin it big real big! Alicia is really getting better with time. This CD is her largest debut for that to happen during this time when music isn’t selling is huge! She deserves these sales cause it’s not just a gimmick the CD is really great 1-14 with no skipping! If you don’t have it you are truly missing out on some good music.

Alica Keys is pure talent! Her album is the work of a genius. This album has helped me through a tough time already. Alicia is the best true artist out right now.
