I feel you. I think a lot of people are color stuck, that just because you are light skinned, you are automatically beautiful. I have no problem w/ light skinned, I can say Cassie and K.D. Actually Kimora was discovered by Karl Lagerfeld when she was 13, so that means she’s been a Chanel girl since then. (Granted Karl hates her ass now)

Chanel is the best of the best so stating that Kimora was average until Russell, maybe money wise, but career wise she was on top. You have to be up there in the modeling world to work for Chanel. Notice that only the big names walk that runway.

I wasn’t unclear on the average statement….that’s my point. If she or the other celebs who were called “average”, then I concluded that I must live in the ugly part of the country. As for me, well, I can’t say that I’ve ever been called ugly…but nothing’s impossible…as you said, beauty is subjective. Beauty and youth are both a commodity.
