I wasn’t unclear on the average statement….that’s my point. If she or the other celebs who were called “average”, then I concluded that I must live in the ugly part of the country. As for me, well, I can’t say that I’ve ever been called ugly…but nothing’s impossible…as you said, beauty is subjective. Beauty and youth are both a commodity. I have never seen Russell Simmons or any other well paid male with an unattractive woman….but we don’t disparage them for their choices for beautiful women; but as soon as a beautiful woman selects a well paid suitor (from her many choices) then she has to be a prostitute! Wow! That’s unfortunate! Prettycaramel: I agree with your statement and it’s unfortunately true, but hopefully we’re moving away from this distructive thinking.

It is so funny how you guys love to say that lightskin girls are unattractive, you cant wait to see a pritty lightskin girl so u can put her down to make you feel better about ur selves…it is so sad how lightskin black women are considered the enemy…you guys need some self esteem…this chick is no way average, i bet if she was dark skinned you guys will be saying how beautiful she is!

Actually Kimora was discovered by Karl Lagerfeld when she was 13, so that means she’s been a Chanel girl since then. (Granted Karl hates her ass now)

Chanel is the best of the best so stating that Kimora was average until Russell, maybe money wise, but career wise she was on top. You have to be up there in the modeling world to work for Chanel. Notice that only the big names walk that runway.

Wow…what eyes are you guys looking from? This girl is gorgeous…just not dolled up for the cameras. True, true, many folks can be color struck, but Alicia Keys, Beyonce and Halle average?! I must live in the UGLY part of the country…no one around here even comes close…even the good looking folks….

Saw her on Run’s House..like I said before..put chocolate on that face and she won’t stand out, her features aren’t all that.She isn’t ugly but the average light skin & eye chick. Denise Vasi is ALOT prettier, I guess Denise didn’t want Russ azz.
