Alec Baldwin Denies Using Anti-Gay Slur

Alec Baldwin went off in a rage-fueled tirade against several members of the paparazzi Thursday morning in New York and the entire encounter was caught on video.
When he finally walked away he was heard allegedly calling one paparazzo a “c*cksucking f*g.” But the Emmy winning actor made a rare visit back to Twitter to clear the air and tell his side of the story – and claim he was misunderstood and did not use an anti-gay slur.
Baldwin – who quit Twitter following another gay slur incident in June – returned Thursday afternoon via his Alec Baldwin Foundation account to defend himself, claiming he called the paparazzo a “fat head” and called out TMZ for “trying to bury” the 55-year-old actor.
He also defended against the use of anti-gay slurs, stating “anti-gay slurs are wrong. They not only offend, but threaten hard fought tolerance of LGBT rights.” He thanked those who know him and support him with “I’m grateful to all of the people I meet + hear from who recognize that I would never say something to offend my friends in the gay community.”
