This track single-handedly changed the entire rap game, and that album cover is priceless.  Look at Snoop reaching for that b*tch’s doggy cakes.  SMH

Step into the dog house and enjoy this one…

Ta-dow.

This album was my jam. My friends and I in high school use to get crunk. Oh, the memories of all these songs.. Snoop, will never be on this level again.. Thanks for the blast from the past.

  • http://www.gravatar.com Re…I happen to like BattleStar Galactica

    This album was GREAT!

But whats up with all that, “Changed the rap game”? LOL…

  • Slide Like A Fresh Pair of Gators (Keepin’ It Real – D’Original)

And Suge was the “Executive Producer” of this album…

    Ain’t that some sh#t…

All that money “Young” Snoop lost ’cause of that…

Suge, did Snoop Puff Daddy style = you make the hits he gets the money…

SMH at the crooked record executives taking advantage of these up & coming recording artist…

7 Million copies sold and Suge got the majority of the profits… And he gave Snoop a house (with Suge’s name on the deed), a car and a little bit of cash… SMH

Guess he should of gotten a laywer too look over the contract before he signed it, but how was he supposed to know that?

  • Dirty Harriet (Get all up in yo ass like a Enema)

    @Southern L.A. Gal:

You aint neva lied about Snoop never being on this level again! This was my SHIT back then!
    Especially Gin and Juice.

My dad would be like…”He took that beat from so and so….”walking down the street watching ladies/go by watching me”……you know what I’m talking about! :)

    Yeah, and you don’t stop,
    cause it’s 1-8-7 on a mother f#cking cop…

The good ol’ days when music was ABOUT = Music
and artist made songs “right or wrong” about stuff they wanted to talk about and it wasn’t solely focused on making a dollar…

  • Huh???

@ Re…I happen to like BattleStar Galactica

    This album was GREAT!

But whats up with all that, “Changed the rap game”? LOL…
    ______________________

Cuteness…I wanna say that, at the time this album was coming out, it was the most anticipated album (for us) ever, and really took the pendulum and swung the momentum pretty much solely on the west coast. Just a thought.

  • told you so

I’m about to play this in my office now. Damn, I havent listened to Snoop in awhile. hey old friend

  • http://www.gravatar.com Re…I happen to like BattleStar Galactica

    @Huh???

Lol…what a nice way to be addressed! I understand the impact its had on the West Coast, most definitely. And it was one of the few truly embraced by the East Coast at that time…

It’s just a funny statement though, “Single-handedly changed the game….”

  • TheGoodGood

    Sweet video… good times

  • Eryca K

I used to sneak to listen to this album.. well back then I was bumpin the cassette tapes and I would play it over and over.. my mom used to catch me sometimes but Snoop and the Dogg Pound was the **ish** back then and they really did change the game with that cd although Too Short was on that B**$! Ish too… snoop brought it to another level and became more than just a gangsta rapper he became a future legend.. hate it or love it… Snoop is L.A.. Hell Snoop is Cali… Period!!!

  • CodyCole

This was Snoop’s best album hands down. I couldn’t agree more with whoever said he’ll never be on this level again. Doggystyle is CLA-SICK!

  • Joline

Friends play an important part in our life. I find many nice friends at the millionaire & celebrity dating club ____MillionaireLoving. C O M____. They are honest and humorous. It is a nice site. Hope you can find more wealthy friends there.

  • http://none Oh Snap!

    I am taking a survey.

What did everbody like more this or Dr. Dre’s “The Chronic”?
I ask based on the album not the artist.

  • PhillyGrownYoungWoman-Still

    classic snoop..

  • Nina Knows

    @oh snap

both doggystyle and the chronic are equally classic. Plus all the same people are on both albums.

  • PURPPLE, just call me TADOW

now bossip you SMH but you wrote “Look at Snoop reaching for that b*tch’s doggy cakes” are you SMH’n at urself because that would be more logical than SMH’n at the album cover, really.

  • PURPPLE, just call me TADOW

    Nina Knows her shyt bitchezzzzz

  • Dog’s World

    Snoop fan for life

  • WordtotheWise

Awwww, the memories. I was just mentioning the old skool Snoop and Dre to my sister.

@Oh Snap! BOTH!!! Classics to the end.

  • CaneRiver1

Black Women will always be nothing but a B*ITCH if you keep reading this Bossip crap. Bossip cannot go more than a few posts without some negative defamatory picture or drawing that has something to do with a Black Woman.

If you look at Snoop’s TV show, he has nothing but respect for the Black Women in his life. You would never know it from the music and his legacy.

  • Ed Norton ‘Hey Ralphee”

So that’s what a black womans ass is? thanks bossip

  • Tyler

“Look at Snoop reaching for that b*tch’s doggy cakes. SMH”

Bossip, get some class. You didn’t have to type this in. Its funny how you all talk about people that dis women, yet you demean women at the same time!

  • Marquis de Sade

Everybody knows that L’Trimm’s “WE LIKE THE CARS THAT GO BOOM!” changed the rap game. God, I miss Bunny and LeTigra. They were female M.C. GODS!

  • Leogirl

This album is definitely a classic…I agree it changed the game from mostly a east coast sound to that smooth west coast sound!! Love it!! It is part of my cd rotation that I listen to regularly…speaking of west coast…where is Warren G?

  • brightseat_bully

WOWZERS. one of my first “in the car with my boys” moments of high school. i vividly remember hearing all the bleep-outs and thinking, “good question. what IS my muthaf*ckin name?!”
