Say what you want about Rita Slora, she is gettin’ that gwap! The RocNation singer has been cast in Universal Pictures and Focus Features “Fifty Shades Of Grey” as the younger sister of Christian Grey (aka the film’s resident freakazoid).

Rita Ora has been cast in Universal Pictures and Focus Features adaptation of E L James’ best-selling novel “Fifty Shades of Grey.” She will play the role of “Mia,” the adopted younger sister of Christian Grey.

Ora is an Albanian-born British singer-songwriter born in Pristina, Kosovo on 1990. At age one her family decided to move to the United Kingdom. She began singing and acting from a young age. In 2004, she appeared in the British film Spivs. Ora has most recently made a cameo appearance in the recently released box office smash Fast & Furious 6. In addition, she was featured in significant campaigns for DKNY; she was handpicked by Madonna to be the face of her “Material Girl,” fashion line; and she has been confirmed as the new face of Rimmel for 2014.

Ora’s forthcoming sophomore album is expected in the spring of 2014, with rumored collaborations with Calvin Harris and many others.

Jamie Dornan will star in this hotly anticipated film adaptation in the iconic role of Christian Grey and stars opposite Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. Joining them in the cast are Eloise Mumford as Kate, Anastasia’s best friend and roommate; Luke Grimes as Christian’s brother, Elliot; Victor Rasuk as Anastasia’s close friend, José; Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia’s mother, Carla; and Max Martini as Christian Grey’s bodyguard and head of his security team, Jason Taylor.

Michael de Luca and Dana Brunetti are producing alongside E L James, with Sam Taylor-Johnson directing.

Kelly Marcel wrote the initial draft of the screenplay with subsequent script work from Patrick Marber and Mark Bomback.

Ora is Managed by Sarah Stennett at Turn First Artists. She is represented by CAA for film.

Congrats to Rita, sounds like she already has some experience in front of the camera so this shouldn’t be too difficult for her.

Did you know Rita was voted Harpers Bazaar’s Woman Of The Year for 2013? Do you think she deserved that title?
