Kanye Compares Himself To Ralph Lauren

Yeezus told Sway he doesn’t have the answers. Well apparently, Kanye doesn’t either…he is nowhere near Ralph Lauren’s status.

According to Radar Online:

Kanye West participated in a panel discussion with Swiss-born architect Jacques Herzog on Wednesday during Art Basel Miami and didn’t disappoint by spewing out more than a few shocking and controversial quotes.

During the hour-long chat, West hinted that he’s the next Ralph Lauren, saying “there’s a new frontier” and bragged about being in art school.

West, 36, also complained about being famous — again.

“Famous and frustrated is the most irritating f**king thing…like I am frustrated ’cause I made a film and nobody liked it,” he said.

Among West’s other memorable quotes from the discussion are:

“If I like it, I like it. No one can tell me who I like or what I’m supposed to be.”

“Contrary to popular belief, I’m not in touch with my femininity.”

“Good taste is a gift, bad taste is a privilege.”

“Watches are dated…all you who has a watch is checking the time on your iPhones.”

“I found my own language in the noise, from which we all want to scream out.”

“When I was in art school I would paint music because I could see it.”

“I think the world could be saved by design… Made more ergonomic to our current state.”

“That’s one of the things I found out with Yeezus, that I do have a voice.”

Kanye, get it together.
