One preacher’s wife turned “Sisterhood” reality star is facing some serious time in prison!
Sisterhood Reality Star Arrested For Forgery
Via S2S Magazine reports:
Domonique Scott has gotten herself into some serious legal trouble as she was indicted on claims of forgery. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, she’s been accused of making a fake tutoring company to get money from the government.
When “The Sisterhood” debuted back in January, Domonique was introduced as a sinner turned saint. The show touched on her past as a prostitute and explored her family’s hard financial times. She and her husband lost their church and she had to pawn her wedding ring.
Since the “Sisterhood” ended its one and only season on TLC, a Fulton County grand jury has accused Domonique of claiming to tutor low-income students to secure federal funding.
Reportedly, Domonique filed documents claiming false assets and liabilities attached to a tutoring company to qualify for the federal Supplemental Education Services tutoring program. Supposedly, the educational company only ever existed on paper.
Domonique submitted papers with false statements on net income, a doctored balance sheet and a program summary with a fictitious start date. Prosecutors also said that she drafted a letter from a phony bank that financed a bogus line of cash credit.
Now, Domonique has been charged with forgery and three counts of giving false statements. If convicted, Domonique could be sentenced with up to 25 years in prison and face fines as high as $400,000.
