Black DHS Emmployee Fired For Running Racist Website

Earlier this year, we reported on a Homeland Security employee who was placed on administrative leave for his ties to a website advocating a race war against white people. Fast-forward a few months and he has now been fired for his shady undercover side gig.

The Homeland Security Department has fired an employee who runs a website predicting and advocating a race war, about four months after he was put on paid administrative leave.

Ayo Kimathi was an acquisitions officer for Immigration and Customs Enforcement who dealt with small businesses. He also runs the website War on the Horizon, which includes descriptions of an “unavoidable, inevitable clash with the white race.” Kimathi is black. He goes by the online pseudonym “Irritated Genie.”

In a brief statement, the department said Kimathi’s last day was Dec. 6.

Kimathi said in an email that he was proud of his work at ICE and predicted that fewer small businesses would win contracts after his firing.

Clearly this man was in the wrong and firing him was probably for the best. However, given the CONSTANT recurrence of incidents involving white employees who simply get a slap on the wrist  or nothing at all for committing blatantly racist acts against their black co-workers (like THIS and THIS), it’s hard to believe that the consequences would have been the same if this man were white.
