Can u imagine how improved Kenya would be if u could sacrifice just half of yourself for your country, like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson did for black america? But u wouldn’t dream of going back to your birthplace and fighting for you people like those two black men did. U couldn’t imagine inviting hate and death threats like those two brothers did. u rather stay here and live the American dream. Then in 5 to 10 years, once your established, slowly bring your whole family over here. But yet you’ll rep Africa and Kenya all day. If only u could learn how to fight like american black leaders, Kenya and Africa would succeed. And please review african american history , think about when Eric Holder and Colin Powell families came here.

I don’t think all Ethiopians have it out for Barack at all. I didn’t say anything about Kenyans having it out for him. I said I wonder if this man’s hatred of the president steamed from racial tension between Kenyans and Ethiopians. I approached the issue from the idea that his actions had something to do with hatred for the president, since every other threat has been racially motivated. But its came out that he wanted to send a political message to the president about AIDS. I do think we need to send him back to his country. He abused his right to be here. And he’s not that crazy. Heck, he knew where to send his letter.

I know black people supported Barack Obama from the start. Thats not a question at all. American society has a problem with the idea of a unified Black community. So they seek out that negative black voice to show the world that black people aren’t as unified as perceived. Also they feel that they have to hide behind a black person in order to go against the black messiah, hence Michael Steele. So they used Uncle Tom Black people to say that Barack wasn’t black enough. That wasn’t at all the opinion of the masses.

I do think that the fact that Barack was biracial and foreign born made him more pallable for white people. That opinion is supported by black history, check out the talented 1/10th philosophy. And please think about the history of the creoles in the south and in the carribean. The idea of bettering the black race with white blood and creating a class system was a popular idea practiced from here to latin America to Africa itself. But it doesn’t mean that Black people love our mixed race people any less. Thats our reality living in America.
U told me ‘get your ass some books’, I am a serious reader. I read continously about world history and sociology. I have my degree and am very aware. Thats why I know for a fact that there was a small massacre on the border of Kenya and Ethiopia. I also know for a fact, through conversations with Ethiopians that there is racial tensions with darker Africains. Its nothing to be ashamed of and start hurling insults about, prejudice is part of the human condition. And there are conflicts all the time between different religions and races and different tribes. A Kenyan society is definitely more liberal and prosperous then Ethiopian society. Are u saying that during the Ethiopian famine in the late 80s’, Ethiopians weren’t going to Kenya. Are u saying that Kenya doesn’t have a large influx of immigrants from surrounding war torn countries like Somalia and Sudan. Just like america has a problem with accepting immigrants from Mexico, and there is friction there, I’m saying that Kenya had a problem dealing with immigrants from surrounding territories. Immigrants that just crossed the boarders and squatted on local villagers lands. There was violence against those immigrants. In fact there was government sponsored violence. –Barack Obama father didn’t immigrate here. When he couldn’t deal with the racism that everyday black people deal with, he went back to Kenya. Don’t forget, he abandoned his young wife and kid. And the fight that black people fought here in our own home paved the way for Colion Powell, and Eric Holder, Barack Obama. And Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton were soldiers from way back in the day. Jesse Jackson stood shoulder to shoulder with MLK. Because he did alopt of the heavy lifting, white America attacked him and tried to bring him down, the same way they did with MLK.
