ITS STRANGE HOW THE CITY DEPENDED MOSTLY ON THE RESIDENTS, BUT MOST ABANDONED THE CITY(NOT SPEAKING FOR THOSE WHO ACTUALLY CANT GET BACK INTO THE CITY) AND EXPECT IT TO FLOURISH AND GET BETTER WHEN IT NEEDS IT NATIVE RESIDENTS BACK TO HELP, IF YOU DONT HELP THEN THERES NO POINT TALKING NEGATIVELY ABOUT THE REBUILDING…

on a semi-related note, i suggest everyone take a visit down to the N.O.; that place looks like a 3rd world country almost; the FEMA trailers are posted up right in front of the vacant homes in the front yard. the entire new orleans east, 9th ward all of that look baddd… you still see a gang of houses with the neon markings on them from when the people were searching for dead bodies etc…

it is really eerie man, straight up! and oddly enough, every billboard in the city is being used for politicians running for office, literally! I mean every single billboard has a face plastered on it with a big cheesy smile talking about how they gone change the city…

it was a reality check for real…living in Houston, I have talked to many people who used to live there and now I see exactly why most of them have said they will NEVER GO BACK TO NEW ORLEANS!
