I’m no rocket scientist, but when grown men/women are strapping bombs to their bodies for their beliefs, regardless of what our media is telling us, these are the actions of people who are desperate. I definitely don’t agree with what they do, but our history gives me a broader sense of where their anger and hatred is rooted. Alot of these suicide bombers are the sons and daughters of people who were victims of America’s historical greed and aggression (via mass medical trials, nuclear testing, the pillaging of oil, etc.) – their children have come to roost. I LOVE my country and I am blessed to live here, but it’s time we lost our thug/bully mentality and I think Obama’s a step in that direction.
