As I sat thru this movie I was thinking I can’t believe I paid to see this movie. It was the worst of all of his movies. I enjoyed Why Did I Get Married and others, but this one was NOT good. The actors could only do as good as the story line allowed. I always support our Black producers, but feel insulted that this is what I got in return. Yes, this movie is tops again this weekend, but that is because we’re going to see a Tyler Perry movie. I personally will be more discriminate and not blindly supportive in the future. The movie had a good story line with Derek Luke and Keisha although I think if he would have gone deeper with the issue that happened between them the movie would have been more throught provoking.

I would love to write a screen play but unfortunately, in the Entertainment business there’s something called a rite of passage. The business does not give you enormous amounts of access to money, fame and power without doing gay shit aka Diddy, aka Russel Simmons etc.. And…Tyler Perry is not holding a gun to anybody’s head forcing them to drive across town to the movies, park and get out of the car, walk to the multiplex, open the door, walk up to the ticket counter, tell the clerk “Two for Madea Goes to Jail, please”, fork over their dollars, walk down the hall into the theater, sit down and watch his movie, and laugh their a** off!

I see what people are saying, the movie wasn’t perfect. Rudy Huxtable as a drug addicted prostitute was a little weird for me. Seeing Derek Luke cry like a little biatch! wasn’t necessarily pleasing either. (and I love me some Derek Luke so it had to be really BAD for me to not like it) ALSO (SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT) did the fiance ever snitch on the friend that cheated on the bar exam? They just kinda said she was goin to jail and left it at that..

But the movie did have some really funny parts! I love Tyler Perry and his message and I appreciate what he’s doing. He’s a positive man. His sexuality doesn’t matter!

Love Tyler and Madea but the movie was dumb as hell. Derek Luck (lucky he’s still making movies)was horrible and Keisha, why was she cast as the hooker?! She needs to do the Robin Givens type roles cause she’s not able to pull off that type of character. Next time Tyler, keep it in line with the actual play.

I loved this movie! But I have to say, I was annoyed and embarassed to be sitting next to this group of girls who kept talking at the screen the whole time. I mean, LOUD, CUSSIN, and just bein thoroughly ignorant. There was another woman, a GROWN ASS woman, behind me doing it too. Why is it that some of us cant STFU in a movie theater? I cant even begin to describe the antics of these chicks. Straight respondin to the characters in the movie like they had their own script. Same thing last time I went to see a TP movie.
