Magazine Admits Miley Cyrus’ Beyonce Diss Was Made Up

Miley Cyrus was in the middle of a firestorm Thursday when quotes emerged from an upcoming interview in Love magazine where the issue’s cover girl made highly critical and disparaging marks against pop legend Beyonce.

We know Miley loves to say and do things to get attention, but going after an icon like Beyonce seemed shockingly over the top.

And now the magazine has come out and admitted the quotes she gave never happened and they’re trying to figure out how they were released to the media.

Love tweeted Thursday night that “@mileycyrus ever said anything to us about Beyonce, the quotes were made up and we’re trying to get to the bottom of where this came from,” adding “WE ALL LOVE BEYONCE.”

For her part Miley initially took the story in stride initially, posting on her twitter “that quote people MADE UP about Beyonce just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got “the looks and the curves I’m just better!” Bahahahhaha.”

But then the 21-year-old took a more serious tone, noting “how are people allowed to make up sh*t & then out quotes around it (sic) saying I said that sh*t! WTF!!?!”

After then posting “don’t worry. getting 2 the bottom of this sh*t. making the liar retract the statement. You can cause A LOT of drama but NOT between me & B!” the magazine a few hours later tweeted their retraction that Miley’s controversial quotes in fact never happened.

Looks like Miley hasn’t twerked herself into a dizzy. Stand down Stans!
