Kimora would be proud that her future babies will be beautiful. Her boo and two time Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou was named the ‘Most Beautiful Black Man Alive’ by TV One All Access.
His body is on point though. Each time we look at these Calvin Klein shots, it makes us want to hit up the gym pronto.

I agree he’s a beautiful specimen, but we need to stop quantifying ourselves by saying most beautiful “black” man, “black” interior designer…”black” beauty magazines…etc. How about just the most beautiful man in the world.
Stop labeling ourselves like a jar of pickles, putting disclaimers on us. It’s just like when YT says ‘oh he’s hot for a black guy’. It’s time to take the ‘black is beautiful’ message to a new level. Show, don’t tell.
We need to learn subtlety. YT doesn’t put sexiest “white” man alive on their stuff, they just make sure that it is one of them and that’s all you expect to see every year to come.
It’s time to get to the point where we just present ourselves like YT does– everyone has to compare himself or herself with us to even begin to be fabulous.
It’s time for YT to pick up a magazine not labled ‘for blacks’ unknowingly and maybe see an ad here or there with their faces on it. Like we do when we look at the majority of magazines out there. Don’t announce it’s a black whatever; just conveniently omit them like they’ve been doing all these years. Beat them at their own game, don’t adopt their negative behaviors toward us for our own behaviors.
PS. Bossip, ‘coons’ are animals not people and always have been regardless of what some ignorant people thought was a witty insult. Eject that from your vocabulary. Find another way to show your displeasure with your own.

I totally agree, he is stunningly beautiful. I remember when my dad was alive, we were watching the newly released Janet Jackson video, ” love will never do without you”. My dad remarked, “what a beautiful black man” we both looked at each other in agreement. See, I got my love and appreciation for my race from my dad. He always believed we are special. He always said, white people wouldn’t put so much energy into destroying us if we were not valuable.
Love yourselves my black people. Don’t have a narcissistic love, have a genuine knowledge of how much God loves and values us, just like any of the other peoples on this earth that he created. He does not love us any less that them. God bless my people.

What I am reading in most of these posts is a hatred for our dark-skinned brothers and sisters.
You may have bought into the racists’ hate of the African, but, many of us will never hate ourselves because racists hate us.
Too many of us continue to hold on to these views of the African as ugly and inferior. We have accepted the lie that other races are superior to us, especially if they have straight hair and light-colored skin.
Know your history people. We have been lied to. In order to subjugate someone, you first have to convince them they’re nothing. Too many of us have yet to realize what racists worldwide have willfully and knowingly done to us.
Thank God some of our ancestors were intelligent enough to NEVER believe the lies. Thus their decendants like myself have complete knowledge of how racists have tried and will continue to try to make us hate ourselves and each other.
