Athletes are often under pressure to perform their very best every single night. When that pressure becomes too great, some turn to illegal methods to enhance their skills. Here are 9 dirty ballers who got caught out there using performance enhancing drugs.

Lance Armstrong

Lance was stripped of all seven Tour de France wins and was also banned from cycling for life.

Marion Jones

She took a variety of performance enhancing drugs and was stripped of her five Olympic medals. She also served six months in prison for lying about taking those drugs.

Jose Canseco

Jose admitted to taking steroids and later said he regretted his actions.

Barry Bonds

Barry admitted to unknowingly taking a type of steroid known as “clear” that is undetected in urine tests. He was found guilty of obstructing justice in a federal steroid probe.

Roger Clemens
