A 12-year-old Brooklyn boy who went missing a week ago has turned up safe – at his grandmother’s home, cops said early Thursday.

Izayus Harrison of Brownsville went missing Jan. 16 near a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Fulton St. and Nostrand Ave. in Brooklyn, his mother, Tiffany Bryant, 32, told the Daily News.

Seven days after the preteen went missing, authorities discovered he had been staying with his grandmother for the week and was unharmed, police said. It was not immediately clear how the boy wound up at his grandma’s, police said. Police did not immediately identify the grandmother or say where she lived.

Authorities did say Bryant was arrested on Jan. 19, three days after her son went missing, for leaving her two other children, ages 4 and 6, home alone. She was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment for that incident.

It was not immediately apparent whether the grandmother tried to contact Bryant, who last saw her son before he left for school Jan. 16 and described her despair over her missing son to The News barely two hours before police announced the boy had been found.

You would think that Grandma would hit her daughter ASAP, she must know her seed ain’t isht.
