I don’t know why it’s necessary to call this woman stupid based on her beliefs. I am a Christian and a Bible student. Many, many, many people believe that Jesus was present and existed during the Creation. The Hebrew word for God in Genesis is a PLURAL noun. The Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) of God suggests to many, NOT JUST SHERRI SHEPHERD, that followers of God (whether or not they were called Christians) have been followers of Jesus since the beginning.

Sherri Shepherd is supposed to be the comic relief. Sometimes I find her unintelligent, but NOT BECAUSE SHE BELIEVES IN GOD.

And yes, God became man in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, but God the Son always existed.

Pay attention to what she said. She said nothing predated Christians. She’s referring to “Christians” and Christianity , not “Christ” in bodily or spirit form.

But Jesus was a Jew. So Judaism predated Christ and Christianity. She just doesn’t sound very smart.

No, I am not related to Sherri. It just really disturbs me that in a world where virtually EVERYBODY is trying to strip God and His word from everything we should be backing someone like Sherri instead of tearing her down.

The ladies were discussing a particular philosopher (who lived in the BC era) and his definition of happiness. Sherri chimed in about including God in what makes you happy, which was perfectly ok. The other ladies pointed out that this philosopher lived before Christ, hence he was likely a polytheist (had many gods) and most certainly was not a Christian. So, the concept of one god was foreign to him. That’s when Sherri got all confused talkin’ about they had Christians back then. Hello, BC = before Christ. AD = anno domini (in the year of our Lord)! Did those two distinctions mean nothing to her. Her confusion was about the advent of Christianity, the religion. Plain and simple.

… Actually it was Pontius Pilate. The bible says that plainly (Matt. 27). He was governor of Judea. The issue of crucifying Jesus never got as far at the emperor. The local governor, Pontius Pilate, handled the matter.

The ANCIENT Egyptians were most definitely black. Look at the many, many works of art where they portrayed themselves as dark skinned and ‘nappy’ headed. The modern Egyptians are the ones who look Arab. The ancients migrated down (headed north, as the river runs south to north) the Nile from ancient Kush (Ethiopia). Google Piankhy or Taharqa (two old kingdom Pharoahs) and get an eyeful of their blackness. Cleopatra was most likely mixed and was Greek on her father’s side.

I think Wow is actually Sherri Shepherd. In Sherri’s defense, I have watched the show many times and thought she acted a bit less experienced than the other ladies, sometimes she talks a bit ghetto and sometimes she doesn’t know what to say. All this talk about dumbness is only giving the show bigger ratings because everyone is watching to see when she will mess up again. If it’s not a marketing ploy on the show’s behalf(look what Jessica Simpson accomplished from acting dumb)then she just needs time to get over her insecurities and the negative publicity is not going to help.
