Steve Stoute is an advertising and branding man by trade but what he seems to do best is translate culture to the masses. Nas’ former manager stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss his powerful The Tanning Of America series and more. In an almost 45 minute sit down, DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God got the former music executive to open up about the documentary and a host of current day topics including Kanye West, Jerry Seinfeld, the N-Word, 360 record label deals and the dreaded Macklemore apolagy.



The turn around for Pharrell’s G I R L album is unlike anything we have seen from the renowned producer. After last week’s announcement about the release, the Neptune affiliate shocks fans again by streaming the project guilt free via iTunes Radio. Skateboard P delivered a 10-song project that includes the mega hit “Happy,” which originally appeared on the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack in 2013. With that record leading the charge, the producer says this is far from a rap album unlike his 2006 solo debut In My Mind…

On Monday everyone went into a bit of a state of shock when People released a statement from Paula Patton announcing that she and Robin Thicke would be getting divorced after being together some 20 years. Even if the split was somewhat expected — given the suspect behavior we’ve witnessed between Robin and other women lately — what wasn’t expected was the way in which it seems Robin’s been blind-sided. Rumor has it Paula announced the separation on her own and Robin rushed back to be by her side and talk their problems out, cancelling a few concerts along the way. Well now the singer has taken to his website to make his first statement since we heard this news.
