Ageless superproducer/fashion mogul Pharrell is currently embroiled in controversy over his "G I R L" album cover that isn't "Black enough" to those outraged (mostly Black feminists). Fair? Not really, but reality in the Black community where folks rather ignore the celebration of brown women (Kendrick's "Poetic Justice" video) and come for Pharrell who's advocated for Black women for years. Hit the jump for a gallery of beautiful brown women on album covers.
What's worse: Black women being objectified on album covers or Pharrell's "offensive" cover? You be the judge.
