I was talking with a friend yesterday and he and I discussed the value of friendship. Real friends are so, so hard to find these days. The Bible is really fulfililng itself when it said that love of many in the later times would wax cold. We are seeing that now. People can tell you one thing with their mouths but to demonstrate what you speak in action is the challenge that many people face.

All a man is his word. If you don’t have word, you are absoulely a *****ody! *****ody consumes their time continually with liars or people who are fickle with their word. Why is this? They don’t acknowledge or respect the value that God has given you. Many of us are like this. We treat the people in our lives who love us the most with so much disrespect. We distance ourselves from them, shun their phone calls, their friendship, their love, witholding ourselves from them not realizing that God may have put that person in your life for a reason and for a season to take you to the next area in your life.

God uses people to take you higher. Do you not know that if you walk with God, it is essential to form bonds and relationships with people. Now don’t get it twisted. I’m not saying to form bonds and close friendships with everyone; surely, that is NOT the will of God. However, there are people who have the closer walk with God, the love, the support, the motivation, the push, the inspiration that you may need to be deposited in your life during your life’s most difficult moments. But how can you receive that love, that support, that motivation if you keep rejecting it? God demonstrates His love a lot of times through others.

BE VERY careful how you treat people. Be careful not take those for granted God has placed in your life for a special time. Be careful not to ignore the ones who are reaching out to love you the most. For the time when you just may need it the most, the season for it may have soon p*****ed away.

I understand that half the things Kim did, a black woman would get stoned, socially slandered, and deemed unworthy to walk upon earth for doing the same thing so it’s a bit nerving to see a non black woman getting away with it no charge and on top of than landing one of the hottest NFL players out there.

I don’t know Reggie personally, but it’s apparent that he doesn’t care about her past and loves her anyway and that’s truly a good thing; it’s something most of us claim we’d do but don’t have the strength. I agree, Pierre Thomas is sick, but you can’t question Reggie’s work ethic. The man is a professional football player and it is spring. So here is what his day probably looks like… Wake up at 6am, go workout until 10 am do nothing until i go to sleep. I mean, is he supposed to just sit in the house and do nothing all year. Guaranteed GQ will get more hate mail than they normally do.

There was a show on E! discussing why there are very few black people on the covers of “white” mags. Whenever a black person is on the cover or featured, the hate mail goes up drastically.

There is a site I stumbled on full of white guys that do nothing but bash and put down Heidi Klum for Seal. And they say the most awful and racist things about Seal.

My point, you can’t judge how ‘cool’ people are based on a magazine. They are doing what sells, be it good, bad or controversial.
Haters buy magazines too. And usually are first in line.

Hopefully , this is a new day and things will be better soon.

I seen this photo shoot on “The Insider” lastnight and I actually think this is a fierce shoot. They both look great. They have actually grown on me as a couple, so whatever.

But LMAO @ how Reggie is allowing Kim to exploit him like this. I know he is getting clownt by his teammates. Speaking of which, he needs to get himself back together and back on that field come next season…because he is starting to look like a bust with all the injuries he be havin’.

And also, people get bashed for dating outside their race period. Wether it is a black woman dating a white man or vice versa, lets stop acting as if it is all one sided and ‘black women’ are the only ones that do the bashing. All I see is some black men bashing woman like Halle Berry (who is mixed anyway) for being with a white man. So everyone at one point or another has a problem.

Wow, I couldn’t have summed this up better myself. It’s the way of Hollyweird, and her former best friend Paris Hilton probably schooled her on how to get it done and get it done good. These type of women will never know the meaning of a strong work ethic because they’ve never had to do much to get where they are besides making a few phone calls and laying on their backs. I’ve always been annoyed at Paris Hilton because for a long time the media was literally obsessed with her and I couldn’t understand why. THen they move on up to the foundation and such. Black women will wear makeup but they do it to enhance natural beauty not to cover it up flaw. Very well put. I have seen posts on Bossip from BOTH black Men AND Women that are so VENOMOUS about people who date/marry SOMEONE OF ANOTHER RACE that you would think it was 1909 instead of 2009.

The ones that are most astonishing are the ones that go on for PARAGRAPHS about what “losers” black men are, then finish with a “zinger” such as “anyway, I don’t give a damn about you because my man isn’t black — I can’t stand you losers”.

Apparently, the very black men that they HATE are then not supposed to find someone who appreciates them? What are they supposed to do, beg the poster’s forgiveness for being born into the world?

SOME BLACK MEN DO THE SAME THING. They will dog a black woman, then finish with a “zinger” about his wonderful woman of another race.

My advice is to find someone to make you happy —and just leave everybody else the hell alone to do the same thing.

ONE THING I can say with certainty — IF black men and women despise each other as much as some of the comments on Bossip indicate, the ONLY DECENT THING to do WOULD be to find some person of another race to stop the madness.

There may be some truth to your post. As painful as it might be. However–on the other hand you need to look at it both ways.

WE have enough people generalizing about our sistas while not holding our brothas accountable for their actions.

For instance–there are many children being raised by single parents–mostly women. For every (let’s say) three to four that want to use that as a reason for knockin old people in the head, selling drugs, making multiple babies with multiple women and overcrowding the prison system, there is one that tries his level best to be a contributing member of society.

While black women may be raising their children alone you need to think: Who chose that man? The woman. Black women need to make better choices. There are about 18 million black men. Only 1 million black men are in prison. So why do black women tend to pick the “bad” black men?

As you said we are accountable for our own action so black women need to look at their actions. Stop spreading your legs. Stop making bad choices usually between the ages of 15-30. Well I was stationed in Hawaii, Barbers Point to be exact. It seems like many military guys white or black go for the big fat white chick. Go figure.

Anyways I am not thinking about these girls out here. I am separated, 2 kids. But I makes my own money (retirement, disability, money for going to school, child support (give it to my kids for them to learn to budget) and I work full time, school full time and work a part time job a couple of nights a month. SO I am doing good for my self. And for any hater who thinks that black women it on their *****, nope not me. I work not cause I have to, make more than most just from military stuff. I had an *****ociate come to me last week. She told me that her 21 year old daughter was at the hospital getting ready to deliver her fifth (YES FIFTH) child. She explained that she needed to leave to find the father of the baby. No sooner than she left, the guys she’s seeing came up to me and said “I hope she didn’t tell you she needed to leave for her daughter. She had that baby on Tuesday.

I’m like WTH??? We’re ALREADY only working four days week….when you’re hourly, why would you jeapordize your attendance with some bull*****?

Well VA is part of the bible belt, hard liquor only sold in the State run ABC stores. There are not swapmeets like the ones you know of especially the Aloha Bowl one 9 yeah its outdoors I know).

But the check cashing thing is on its way out the door here in VA. I don’t think the military can do loans anymore or can’t do as many. I am speaking trictly for Norfolk Area.

I think that some of my sisters have trouble articulating the real reasons for our disapproval because of the pain and desperation that seem to be ever present in the life of a single black female. There’s also a bigger picture and that is the actual cost that we as a race don’t always realize that we are paying.

Now I’m not totally blaming the brothers, but the fact is that our race grossly lacks UNITY and LEADERSHIP. Other races have wealth that they can p***** down because they build businesses TOGETHER. Those businesses are founded within communities and those communities are created by FAMILIES. Black women are like all women – we want husbands and children. Instead our race is plagued with baby-mommas, absent fathers and consequently delinquent youths.

Real talk, I’ve only recently become more laxed on the subject because God sent me my African King who promptly put a ring on it. Now ladies I have to tell you that I feel your anger. I’ve been to hell and back with no good black men.(chosen of course because of my Daddy issues hint hint) I understand that kick in the gut feeling when you see a non-black women with a black man. But I never gave up. I never allowed myself to believe that there were “no good black men” and I consciously stepped up my own game so that I could be worthy of the man that is now my husband

I don’t think that a black man is necessarily a sell-out if he dates outside his race, I think he’s a sell-out if he turns his back on it and falls on lame ***** excuses like “black women have attitude” and “white women are easier”. It might sound like hate but the truth is my brothers that we just love you… we want you… we NEED you!!!

Honestly, I think that Kim and Reggie make an absolutely gorgeous couple. Those who chat, speculate and gossip about what goes on between them should consider investigating more relevant topics because you will never really know and it’s NUN’YA!

As for all of the judges, name callers, and mud slingers, you guys are always called haters but it’s really because you hate yourself. How else could you say such terrible things about people you’ve never and will never meet. Seek therapy. I did and it worked!
