Queen Latifah opened up about the old days when she used to get broken off by men. She’s referring to one experience in particular:

“I [used to] ingratiate myself to him and then sleep with him. Afterward, I felt disgusting- really gross and nasty … and I hated myself. That feeling was so horrible, I decided I would never do that again,” Queen La told author Shaun Robinson for the book “Exactly As I Am.”

Sleeping with men when you are a certified cunnilingus expert normally has that effect.

Its obvious Queen Latifah is a lesbian. She is just not comfortable coming out at this point in her life. She has a great career and doesn’t want to alienate any of her fans. What she fails to realize, is that her true fans (and there are many) will accept her no matter what her sexual orientation.

That is why I do not belive people are born gay. I believe environment and life experiences lead us one way or another. She experienced something awful with the opposite sex and said no more. Just like a person who has been molested could have that same effect. But then again I am not gay, so oh well.

Which is why you can’t compare the gay struggle to the black struggle. Gays want to remove Prop 8, but don’t want to lose their bank by coming out. We just wanted to get from point A to point B without being run off the road, lynched, shot at, burned, etc. — all the while paying taxes.
If you don’t want your business out there, don’t do these half-steppin’ interviews, i.e., “I felt nasty and disgusting after sleeping with a man”. Did she not think that would raise suspicion? This is just confusion so I would not allow their political agenda to conflate with our political agenda.
